Since mummy haven't updated this journal last week, and we had plenty of foodies photos captured by bro " z " ...... and this journal is supposed to be about our everyday life and our love for food, so here are our decent home cooked meals for the past few days. Can't remember exactly when, except for those " laksa kuah lemak " that mummy made yesterday. The rest were meals of the previous day and day before if I'm not mistaken.
Enjoy viewing ..... !!!!

This morning the boys had cereals for breakfast, to be exact Milo Balls + fresh milk.

Prepared their lunch of masak Singgang Pedas/ Pindang ikan Gelama, sup brocoli + carrot and ikan Pelaling goreng berlada ..... tak sempat nak snap the photos !!!!

Mummy has not updated this journal for almost a week ..... phewwww !!!
Had a great CNY breaks, resting at home and doing some reading as well ...... 

Uncle J lent me this book ...... tried to finish it and pass it back to him tomorrow, very informative reading ...... history of the Chinese in Malaysia way back from  the mainland of China. TQ J !!!
                             

  
Alhamdulillah my baby "u" was back safe and sound last Tuesday and mummy started working the next day, Wednesday. Quite hectic scheduled at the office ...... not even a chance to write any single thing in this journal.
Life was as usual during the weekdays, preparing meals of the day, sending and fetching "u" to and from night tuition classes etc. Managed to escape from home and did weekends outing with the boys.
By the way all photos were captured from mummy's hp, the quality were not as good .......

The weather was too hot ...... we decided to stop by for a bowl of cendol  each ...... slurpppp  ...... mmmmm .........  so cooling and refreshing then !!!

Wishing everyone a Happy Holidays and Happy Chinese New Year !!!!
We are seeing RED everywhere ......

Since everywhere we go were decorated in RED, mummy decided to bake something which is RED too. Today mummy baked a RED VELVET cake ....... got the recipe from Rima's blog. TQ Rima, it's really lovely ....... bro "z" loves it so much. Mummy loves the creamy flavour, combination of the moist cake and the cream cheese are superb ...... yum yum yum !!!!

        the Red Velvet Cake ...... Alhamdulillah, mummy's first attempt is successful  


Tomorrow Insya'allah my baby is coming back ...... Yahooooo !!!!  






                         

Gloomy Sunday

RAINY DAY AGAIN .......


It was raining heavily this morning ........ the weather was really gloomy. Last night we planned to jog around SU area , unfortunately the rain only stop after 10.00am.  Since we couldn't exercise  outdoor , we did it indoor ...... still in the spirit of exercising though.


What we did were spring cleaning our house ...... buang sawang2, korek sana, korek sini, sental sana, sental sini, tenyeh sana dan sini ..... ha ha ha !!!!
Mummy thinks we burnt almost the same calories as jogging for half an hour, but we did it for hours.

       our breakfast and lunch today ( mostly recycle items  ......... just for 2 of us )

     
After lunch, mummy had a good time watching TV  ....... it's all mine hoooray. Bro "z" was busy face booking .......  so mummy watched one channel after another ...... such leisure !!!!
Later in the evening we did our normal weekend routine of gardening again. We just love seeing those blossoms ....... smiling and waving at us !!!!

We just came back from "Mamak" just now. We had roti telur and thosai for dinner ...... malas nak masak just for two person only.
"U" had called us 3 times today, obviously he missed us very much ...... he he he !!!!
We missed him too .... ahaks ...... glad that he was enjoying himself in the company of Pak Uda and Auntie S.  

My Baby is Away from Home ......

"U" left mummy and bro "z"  behind ???? .......
He went " balek kampung" to Terengganu together with Atok, Nenek, Pak Ngah, Pak Uda and Auntie S this evening. He was so eager to go back even though  mummy and bro "z" are not going along with him. Mummy guessed he just need some break, away from his mom and big brother. Doesn't feel like travelling this time around, traffic is scheduled to be slow due to CNY "balek kampung" rush, just wanna stay in SU ..... rest and relax.


This morning we went out together, had lunch at Giant in Batu Caves. We then sent "u" at Atok's house after doing some shopping. It's the first time he is away from both his mom and brother. Well, he's no longer my little baby, he's all grown up young man now !!! Sooner or later eventually they are going to leave mummy either to pursue their education, career or starting their own family. Mummy is now learning to let go with a heavy heart ..... sob sob sob !!!


Anyway bro "z" just mentioned that our house is too dull and quiet without him .... ha ha ha !!!
We miss you "u" ....... enjoy your holiday at "kampung" baby.


As predicted, traffics were very slow and poor everywhere today, it's heavy rain late in the evening. Mummy and bro "z" drove back to SU in heavy rain + storm all along the MRR2 Highway.
Bro "z" managed to capture a few shots before and during the rain while mummy braved the storm.

                                                                                   

Mummy haven't updated this journal since last Wednesday, was too busy at the office and slow Internet services at home. 
Anyway still wanted to share our meals in the past few days coz we just love FOOD !!!

                            in the mood of home made pizza again this week ........

                                           Sambal Tumis Sotong on last Friday ..........   

     tonight dinner of Bee Hoon goreng ( from Nek Gayah's house )  + keropok

                                PISANG BERANGAN  and ORANGES

          we are left with no choice, going to eat oranges the whole week ...... ha ha ha !!!!!


That's about all for tonight .......
"U" is on the line, calling us from "kampung"  just now ......... he missed us too ????!!!
Mummy is so glad he arrived safe and sound despite the heavy traffic.
