a SURPRISE for Atok ......

Our Atok Ody's 71st  birthday was last 21st. Mac, 2012. Mummy and siblings decided to throw him a surprise birthday party during weekend. After much discussion on the menus and venue, we decided to go for a pot luck, high tea cum birthday party on Sunday. Auntie B agreed to held the party at her lake view resident .... thank you dear !!! The plan was Auntie B invited Atok and Nenek to her house for lunch that day.

Mummy and sons were the earliest to arrived at Auntie B's place ....... to help her out with tables, chairs and food setting at the hall.
Auntie Y and Uncle J arrived at noon with 2 packs of nasi bungkus ....... he he he !!!! Both haven't taken their breakfast yet. They were starving, can't wait for the party to start after 2 pm ........ whatever !!!!
Achu came in not long after both of them with goodies from Nek Gayah. Alamak mesti Atok boleh suspect ni ???? Nenek memang tak boleh datang tangan kosong la ..... nak buat cam na ???
Mama and family last arrival 5 minutes before the birthday boy. Mama was with the most heavy dish for the day ....... but she was the latest to arrived, as usual .... !!!! We were worried she might bump into the birthday boy at arrival ...... rosaklah our plan of SURPRISE for Atok.   

Alhamdulillah everything went well according to plan ....... finally Atok Ody arrived with Pak Ngah and Nek Gayah. The crowds of anak2 and cucu2 started singing " Allah Selamatkan Kamu " song.
Obviously he was caught by surprised and touched to see his children and grandchilds gathered there. Only Pak Uda and Auntie S were not around, in Segamat with Auntie S's family.

Mummy, as an organiser was happy with everyone cooperation and commitment towards this hi tea cum birthday party. Everyone did their best with the choice of food pick. The food was superb !!!!

Congratulations  Auntie B, Y, Mama and Achu ........ am sure Nenek will be proud of all her daughters. We expected everyone to bring only one food, but most prepared two items which was quite a lot for the small crowd. We ended up take away a little bit of everything home for dinner.

Overall the function was a great success for us siblings ....... hope that Atok enjoyed it too !!!
We planed for another similar function in the future, perhaps in May during Nenek's birthday.

To Bella and Ibu, thank you so much for the belated birthday gift. Mummy appreciated your thoughtful act very very very much ...... muah muah muah !!!!
