Nek Gayah celebrates her birthday on the 29th of May every year.
She turned 66 this year........... but
from this year onwards, 29th. May will always be remembered in our family calendar date as Nek Gayah's birthday and the birth and death date of little Abu Bakar.
It's indeed a very sad day for us. Mummy's sister, Mama who was 26 months pregnant lost her baby boy. She discovered the baby was not breathing during her normal check up on the 27th. Our family grieved her sudden loss and our hearts go to both Mama and Uncle H during this difficult moment of their life. Both of them had redha dengan ketentuan Nya, it is supposed to be no 4 child for Mama. Mama is now resting at home on confinement leaves for 2 months. She's coping well. The little boy was named Abu Bakar by his father, Uncle H prior to burial.
On the 27th of May itself, Pak Uda's wife, Auntie S who was also expecting went through a D&C procedure at a maternity clinic. She was 15th week pregnant when she discovered the foetus was not breathing anymore. She suffered 2 miscarriages in a row this year alone. It's a double blow for her ...... as she longed to be a first time mother. They have just celebrated their first wedding Anniversary early this month ....... you both are still young, Insya'allah, masa masih panjang, peluang untuk jadi ibubapa tu masih banyak ........ jangan putus asa !!!!
We are still in mourning period, in respect to both losses ........ we decided not to throw any birthday party for Nek Gayah.
Anyway last Friday, 1st June, Mummy bought a cake and a present for nenek just for the sake of the kiddos in Selayang . Mummy tak sempat pun nak buatkan kek untuk nenek ..... sebuk sesangat. Mummy was in the office when Nenek cut off the cake with her grandchildren around ...... it's school holidays now, so the kiddos were there !!!! Selamat hari lahir Bonda ku ......... !!!

Mummy baked for bro " z " a Red Velvet cake as promised for his birthday. Red Velvet with cheesy frosting is his all time favourites ....... yum yum he was so happy !!! The cake was so moist and tender just like velvet surface and the cheese was made in Haven ..... Mmmmmm Mmm !!!!
This was the only portion left this morning. Sorry, forgot to snap the whole cake photo ........ dah tua la, asyik2 lupa je ....... ha ha ha !!!

By the way, Uncle J, Auntie Y and Achu came to our SU home last Saturday. Auntie Y baked for us a Chocolate Walnuts brownies ...... TQ Auntie Y, am sure the boys would love it. Just one comment from Mummy : the topping was a bit runny, so next time please use thick cream ok.

Uncle J treated all of us the steamboat and BBQ once again ...... TQ again too !!!
After dinner, Achu drove us around to KL. Perut dah kenyang tak boleh nak tido lagi kan, so jalan2 lah dulu ...... ronda2 lebuhraya sampai ke KL. She is such a high speed driver, F One ....... kecut perut naik kereta dengan Achu woiiiii !!!!. We passed by Jln P. Ramlee, Bukit Bintang area, Ain Arabia etc ....... it's Saturday night, so what do you expect ???? ........
it's already 12 midnight ......... and the city was still alive !!!!
Reached home at almost 2.00am. Achu, Auntie Y and Uncle J spent a night in SU ...... Zzzzzzzz
The next morning Sunday, 3rd. June Mummy treated everyone for breakfast at Maju Ahmad, before our dearest uncle and aunties went home to Selayang.
Sunday were spent with gardening at home !!!! Will write again.
