Ahlan Wasahlan Rejab .......

As'salamualaikum kepada Muslimin and Muslimat semua ......

Alhamdulillah bulan Rejab datang lagi dan kita berkesempatan bertemu lagi dengan nya !!!!
Hari ini bersempena 1 Rejab, marilah kita sama2 berpuasa sunat dan memperbanyakkan solat2 sunat, doa, zikir dan beristighfar memohon keampunan di bulan Allah SWT ini.

Seperti mana sabda Rasulallah, Nabi Mohamad SAW bahawa bulan Rejab adalah antara bulan2 yang sungguh istimewa untuk umat Islam sehinggakan di haramkan berperang pada bulan ini.
Baginda juga pernah berfirman : Rejab adalah bulan Allah SWT, Sya'ban adalah bulan Ku dan Ramadhan adalan bulan untuk umat Ku.  

Jadi masih belum terlambat untuk kita sama2 berdoa agar dapat juga di pertemukan dengan Sya'ban dan Ramadhan pada tahun ini ..... Insya'allah !!!

اللهم بارك لنا فى رجب وشعبان وبلغنا رمضان
( Allah humma baarik lana fii rojabin wa sya'baana wa ballighnaa romadhhoona )

Masjid Sultan Mizan and Event ....

Sunday, 13th. May, 2012  

We were invited to a wedding reception at the Masjid Sultan Mizan in Putrajaya.

                        a beautiful mosque surrounded by the Putrajaya lake

It was a Majlis Perkahwinan Beramai-ramai or a Mass Wedding reception held by the lake of the mosque. The big scale event was being organised by the mosque itself. It was officiated by Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abd Jalil. Mummy's niece ( a cousin's daughter ) was married together with more than 25 other couples on that day. Everyone in the family attended the kenduri except for Pak Ngah who wasn't well that day, Uncle J and Auntie Y ????? 
Congaratulations to all the brides and grooms of the day !!!!

Tribute to Mothers + Busy WEEK

HAPPY Belated MOTHER'S DAY to all mothers out there !!!!

Mummy had been very busy last week ........ busy steaming, baking and decorating  ......  went to bed at midnight straight in a row for almost every night on the weekdays. The next morning still have to wake up at 5.00am to prepare the boys meal. Can you imagine that  ????  

Mummy's busy schedule started on Tuesday, 8th. May, 2012. 
After dinner mummy started preparing the steamer ....... to make kueh Seri Muka for the next day event at the office. We had a periodical kuliah agama at the office during lunch break. The organiser served the main meal of Biryani rice, staffs were encouraged to contribute dessert. Mummy's Seri Muka was done as per ingredients and method of my mom, Nek Gayah.

Wednesday, 9th. May 2012 baked chocolate cake ordered by officemates. Su ordered a cake for her son's Haziq 11th birthday on Thursday and Liza's daughter Insyirah 1st birthday on Friday. Mummy baked both cake last Wednesday, kept Liza's in the fridge for decoration on the next day. Finished baking by midnight, decorated Su's cake the next morning.

Sorry ....... forgot to snap the photos of Su's cake, was in a hurry the next morning prior leaving to the office. Anyway she just requested for a simple cake, nothing extra ordinary at all. Just sprinkled some mix white and dark chocolate rice at the edge of the cake. Wrote the Happy Bithday Haziq wordings used blue fondant icing.

Anyway Wednesday, the 9th was mummy's niece Leeya 14th birthday too. Happy Birthday Leeya ...... we will celebrate together with bro " z " and Nek Gayah end of this month, ok !!!

Thursday, 10th. May, 2012 decorated Liza's birthday cake right after dinner. She requested for a pinky Barbie Doll cake. It's a combination of fondant and butter cream icing. Since mummy only had a few hours to complete the deco, butter cream was an ideal choice. Butter cream was faster to work with compared to fondant. Bottom line mummy's enjoyed decorating the cake .... mind theraphy !!!

Friday, 11th. May, 2012 the baking and cooking were all done, orders of the week were finally over ...... what a relief !!!

Promised to take the boys out for dinner, they have been helping a lot in the past few days. TQ dear boys, mummy is going to treat you for a nice dinner.  

Just before we left for dinner, Uncle J called up ....... he and Auntie Y were on their way to our house. They wanted to treat us for steamboat dinner. We thought they are not coming to SU this week ...... but then they loved and missed us so much ...... ha ha ha !!!!  So they came and ........

We reached home after dinner at after 11.30pm ....... both Uncle J and Auntie Y spent a night in SU.

Gotta go off now, will continue with our weekend activities later on ........ too busy right now !!!  



an Update ........

Saturday, 5th. April, 2012 ...... Happy Wesak Day to Buddhist friends out there !!!!

Mummy did tonnes of laundry last Saturday. Beside washing the boys school clothing, mummy's office wear, daily wears and towels, got an additional item of the house curtains ( but not the whole house yet, just the ground floor only ..... ahaks !!!!  Dah penat giler ..... not going to cook lunch for the day boys.
The weather were bright and shiny ......... a perfect day for laundrette work. Mission accomplished by noon ....... what a relief. The boys were in charged of folding the laundry later on.

After lunch of  lauk pauk from the kedai only, Mummy decided to cook something for tea. The boys were bored having Seri Muka 2 weeks in a row, requested for something different this week. We agreed to try another new kueh with pandan flavour. The boys loved any green coloured traditional cake with natural pandan taste  ....... so this was our pick, Talam Pandan browsed from the net. Come and join Mummy in the kitchen >>>> 1,2 .....3

 the lower base of the talam : consist of rice flour sugar, pandan extract and coconut milk

pour on to a tray and steam for 20 minutes 

 the top layer : consist of rice flour, coconut cream and pinch of salt

and finally on to the cooked bottom layer and steam for another 20 minutes

Unfortunately, tak sempat nak snap the end product of the Talam photos, sedar2 dah habis !!!!
Bro " z "  loved the Talam very very much ...... I think he finished it offf. Will definately do it again.

Uncle J and Auntie Y datang lagi !!! They came over to our home again but late at night ...... not a surprise anymore !!! Ha ha ha ...... spent a night but left quite early in morning right after breakfast. Uncle J needed to rush to PWTC again for the last closing day of the International Book Fair 2012. Happy working on Sunday Uncle J ...... we know you worked really hard at the book fair. 

Sunday, 6th. April, 2012 ........ went to Selayang to visit Atok and Nenek

+ the boys need hair cut too. They prefered barber shop in Selayang ....... meet their hair style, Issshhhh teenagers ????? I was there, once upon a time ago ....... so layannnnn !!!! 

Auntie B, her kids and Leeya came over to join us at Atok's house later on. We planned to take our kids out for swimming. Auntie B took us to a swimming pool in KKlub at Taman Melawati. Not that bad at all, the place was not that crowded ...... the kids enjoyed themselves very much.

It's almost Maghrib when we decided to leave the club ...... the management had switch on the light around the pool area ( dia dah suruh balek lah tu ...... tak faham2 jugak ke? ) Ha ha ha ..... 

Had dinner at Atok's house, Nek Gayah cooked Pajeri Nenas ....... makan dengan ikan goreng panas2, superb !!!!  Syok makan sampai lupa nak ambik gambar lagi. 
Mummy seldom took food photos this lately ........ bro " z " always complaint mummy is so forgetful nowdays. Now I know why Nenek were so forgetful those days ..... I'm into it now, Help me please  !!!!! ????
